Privacy notice

We collect as little as we can, nothing at all from children, and we never sell or share it for advertising.

Last updated: 16 October 2026

Who is responsible

Oakbridge is the data controller for information processed through oakbridge.club. It is operated as a family business in England. The proprietor's full legal identity, postal address and privacy contact will be inserted before public launch.

What we collect about grown-ups

  • Your email address, to create your account and send sign-in codes.
  • Your agreement: that you confirmed you are 18 or over, which version of the terms and this notice you accepted, and when.
  • Your news email choice, if you ask for occasional news, and when you confirmed it.
  • Sign-in records: when you signed in, and your device's IP address and browser type, kept to keep your account secure.

What we keep about children

Children never give us information. A grown-up adds each child as a player with a nickname and a picture choice. We ask you not to use a real name. As they play we keep their acorn passbook (acorns earned and spent, in which game and when), the things they have unlocked, and which games they have played.

We do not collect children's names, ages, birthdays, schools, photos, voices, locations or contact details, and there is no chat or anywhere for children to type messages.

Why we use it

  • To run your account and the games you asked for (our contract with you).
  • To keep the site secure and stop misuse (our legitimate interests).
  • To send news emails, only if you opted in and confirmed (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time).

We do not use advertising, profiling, behavioural tracking or analytics cookies, and we never sell personal information.

Who helps us

  • Vercel hosts the website.
  • Neon stores the database.
  • Our email provider sends sign-in codes and other emails. It will be named here before launch.

These providers process information only on our instructions. Some are based in the United States; where information leaves the UK, it is protected by the UK's approved safeguards, such as the International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK–US data bridge.

How long we keep it

Account and player information is kept while your account is open. When you delete your account, your email, players, acorns and unlocks are deleted straight away. Sign-in records expire automatically. Our providers may keep backups for a short time before they are overwritten.

Your rights

You can download your family's data and delete your account yourself from the grown-ups' corner. UK data-protection law also gives you rights to access, correct, erase or restrict use of your information, to object, and to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Changes

If this notice changes in a way that matters, we will ask you to read and accept it again next time you sign in.
